I feel it's important to give a heads-up to older folks about this situation. WARNING: ELDERLY FOLKS BE AWARE! WARNING: ELDERLY FOLKS BE AWARE!
On April 17th, 2023, I reached out to a rep and provided the required documents along with my insurance card for my renewal premium. WARNING: ELDERLY FOLKS BE AWARE! Even though I prepaid the $837.00 annual premium for my policy H4124393800840, Liberty Mutual chose to ignore or misplace my request to waive personal injury protection (PIP) and my proof of medical insurance. They even switched my policy to unlimited coverage, causing my annual premium to jump to over $1900. Once again, if you're an older person living on a fixed income, be careful. It looks like Liberty Mutual is trying to take advantage of your finances. In my case, they took nearly $300 from me. While I'm not elderly myself, I truly worry about what might happen to my grandparents in a similar situation. If needed, I’ll get a lawyer involved. But let’s be real, most older folks on fixed incomes can’t afford that.
For now, I’m waiting for an investigator to look into my case and refund the difference between the new annual rate of $805 and the amount they deceitfully took from me, which adds up to $1099. Basically, I’m after the return of the extra $256.47 they managed to snag before I caught on to this clear scam! I DID NOT GET WHAT I PAID FOR! WARNING: ELDERLY FOLKS BE AWARE!

Despite prepaying the $837.00 annual premium for my policy H4124393800840, Liberty Mutual decided to disregard or misplace my request to waive personal injury protection (PIP) and my proof of medical insurance. They even changed my policy to unlimited coverage, resulting in my annual premium skyrocketing to over $1900. Once again, if you are an elderly individual with a fixed income, be cautious. It seems that Liberty Mutual seeks ways to exploit your finances. In my case, they swindled me out of nearly $300. Although I am not elderly myself, I genuinely worry about what could happen to my grandparents in a similar situation. If necessary, I will hire an attorney. However, most elderly individuals with fixed incomes cannot afford to do so.
In the meantime, I am awaiting an investigator to review my case and refund the difference between the new annual rate of $805 and the amount they deceitfully took from me, which totals $1099. "The cost of these snakes is just absurd."
The price of these snakes is just absurd. Getting in touch with anyone is a real challenge, and when you finally do, they’ll take full advantage of you and then turn it around, making you feel like it’s your fault for not getting it, even though they give you vague and confusing info on purpose. And we can't ignore those sky-high prices. This is totally unacceptable.

These snakes are ridiculously expensive. It's incredibly difficult to reach anyone, and even when you do, they will shamelessly take advantage of you and then blame you for not understanding, despite intentionally providing unclear and ambiguous information. And let's not forget about the outrageously high prices. This is simply unacceptable.

"This place is just awful..."
I just put a driver on my policy who ain't got a license. But guess what? They told me that this mess can't be fixed until the next billing period. Because of their blunder, my bill shot up by $200. I'm really unhappy with their service and think their customer support is pretty lousy.

I recently added a driver to my policy who doesn't possess a license. However, I was informed that this error cannot be rectified until the next billing cycle. Unfortunately, as a result of their mistake, my bill increased by $200. I am extremely dissatisfied with their service and find their customer service to be of poor quality.

Really disappointing and untrustworthy. When I first joined Liberty, they told me to grab their driving app, promising a discount based on how I drive. I took their advice, and after three months, the app rated my driving as top-notch. But guess what? No discount came my way.
After six months, they bumped up my policy a bit, which I went along with. But then, a year later, they jacked it up again, and this time it was a hefty increase. I decided to reach out and ask why. The woman who looked into my policy couldn’t find a solid reason, since I had no incidents or tickets. She said she’d check again and put me on hold for a few minutes. When she came back, she said the hike was because of inflation, which I found pretty ridiculous.
I was fed up with their lack of clarity, so I quickly canceled my policy and promised myself I’d never deal with them again. I really should’ve checked the online reviews before I signed up.

Terrible and disloyal. When I initially signed up with Liberty, they advised me to download their driving app, promising a discount based on my driving performance. I followed their advice and after three months, the app rated my driving as excellent. However, I did not receive any discount.
After six months, they slightly increased my policy, which I reluctantly accepted. But after a year, they raised it again, this time by a significant amount. I decided to call and inquire about the reason for the increase. The lady who checked my policy couldn't find any valid explanation, as there were no incidents or tickets on my record. She said she would double-check and put me on hold for a couple of minutes. When she returned, she claimed that the reason for the increase was due to inflation, which I found laughable.
Frustrated with their lack of transparency, I promptly canceled my policy and vowed never to do business with them again. I should have read the online reviews before signing up.

Liberty Mutual is definitely not a trustworthy insurance provider. I'm really let down that they turned down my claim, especially since they’re meant to have my back in case of an accident. In my situation, it was a solo car crash where I ended up wrecking my vehicle. Sadly, I can't remember the incident and woke up in the hospital two days later, feeling intense pain. I had broken feet and a fractured back, but the hospital records showed I wasn’t under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If I had been, I would’ve faced some serious legal trouble. Since I couldn’t recall what went down, I started working with various agents to look into the matter. I get that they need to investigate, but it was super frustrating because I had just bought a 2021 Mustang and had never been in an accident before. My lack of memory might have led to my claim being denied. Throughout the whole ordeal, the investigator kept accusing me of drinking and driving, even though I had proof to show otherwise. This made things tense, and she twisted my words to get back at me, ultimately rejecting my claim based on supposed misleading info or fraud. She even falsely stated that I claimed I wasn’t driving my car, which is ridiculous since I was the only one behind the wheel that night. I tried to take the issue up with higher-ups, but they backed the investigator, leaving me in a tough spot and taking away everything I had worked for. This accident cost me my job and messed up my credit, which had been spotless until then. It’s clear that the investigator’s actions have turned my life upside down. If you have a bad experience with your claim investigator, be ready for some serious fallout, as they might not think twice about taking everything from you. I strongly recommend steering clear of Liberty Mutual for insurance because they sure don’t offer any real support or freedom.

If you ever find yourself needing to file a claim, may the heavens lend you a hand. You might just wait forever for even a tiny bit of compensation. Speaking from my own experience with an auto claim, it’s been a nightmare. I got rear-ended, and the other driver got a ticket, yet here I am, still waiting for any kind of payout after four long months. It's been beyond frustrating.

Liberty Mutual is not a reliable insurance company. I am extremely disappointed that they denied my claim, especially since they are supposed to support me in the event of an accident. In my case, it was a single car accident where I ended up crashing my car. Unfortunately, I have no memory of the accident and woke up in the hospital two days later in excruciating pain. I suffered from broken feet and a fractured back, but the hospital report confirmed that I had no drugs or alcohol in my system. If I had been under the influence, I would have faced legal consequences. Since I couldn't recall what happened, I started working with different agents to investigate the incident. I understand the need for an investigation, but it was frustrating because I had just purchased a 2021 Mustang and never experienced an accident before. Due to my lack of recollection, my claim was possibly denied on my part. Throughout the process, the investigator repeatedly accused me of drinking and driving, despite my evidence proving otherwise. This led to a strained relationship, and she twisted my words to retaliate against me, ultimately denying my claim on the grounds of misleading information or fraud. She even falsely claimed that I said I wasn't driving my car, which is absurd since I was the only one who would have been driving it that night. I attempted to escalate the issue to higher-level executives, but they sided with the investigator, leaving me disabled and taking away everything I had worked hard for. This accident caused me to lose my job and negatively impacted my credit, which had been perfect up until that point. It is clear that the investigator's actions have ruined my life. If you have a negative experience with your claim investigator, be prepared for the consequences as they may not hesitate to take away everything from you. I strongly advise against choosing Liberty Mutual for insurance as they do not provide any form of liberty or support.

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to file a claim, may the heavens assist you. It is highly likely that you will reach the end of your days before receiving even a measly five cents. I must say, based on my personal experience with an auto claim, they are absolutely terrible. Despite being rear-ended and the other driver being issued a ticket, I have yet to receive any compensation, and it has been a frustrating four months since the incident occurred.

They pull some shady moves, charge way too much, and you just can't count on them. This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. Specifically, I am referring to their commercial insurance services. They engage in deceptive practices, charge exorbitant prices, and cannot be relied upon. To illustrate their lack of integrity, they provided me with a rate initially, but later conducted an audit after I had already cancelled my policy. As a result, they added an extra $2447.00 to my bill, based on sales from the previous year. I strongly advise potential buyers to exercise caution when considering this company.

"Longtime Customer Disappointed with Recent Experience"
I've been with this company for home insurance for quite a few years. But this year, out of nowhere, my rates shot up and doubled. I reached out to them to find out what was going on, and they told me it was because of losses in my neighborhood and the rising costs to rebuild my home. Not happy with that answer, I started looking around and ended up finding a much better deal with USAA. I called them up and cancelled my policy, letting them know why I was leaving. I got my final bill and took care of it. But then, just yesterday, I got an email saying my homeowner policy was cancelled as of 06/25/2023, and they claimed I still owed $362.89. The email was pretty urgent, stressing that I needed to pay right away or else they might send it to collections and report it to the credit bureau. I'm really fed up with how unprofessional they've been, so today I'm sending them all the proof of payment via certified mail. If this is how they treat their customers, I’m out.
